I sent 12 days of wacky presents to my nephews anonymously thinking it would be fun for them to get a package a day at Christmas. I never thought how creeped-out my sister was when these packages with no return address showed up for her boys.

I'm glad your mom reads your blog.kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13468763091074811797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5186874526291014902.post-35450446400661701322011-08-24T00:14:47.473-07:002011-08-24T00:14:47.473-07:00Hi,

Ramona is a very dear friend of mine. She offered to share some of her vintage patterns with my daughter and I wanted the pkg to be a surprise for Stacie, not thinking of how unsettling it could be for her to receive a pkg from someone she didn't know. I'm sorry for the lack of judgement on my part,Stacie. I never intended to cause you concern, thinking your personal address was floating around cybespace. I gave it to Ramona privately.Next time I'll know to ask you first. Please have fun with these adorable patterns.crochets4preemieshttp://project-angel-kisses.150m.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5186874526291014902.post-42810681252661978352011-08-23T21:36:46.498-07:002011-08-23T21:36:46.498-07:00Well, if you decide to send me any of those lovely...Well, if you decide to send me any of those lovely patterns, please give me a heads up first! I'm sure this Ramona meant well, and just wanted to surprise you. It is still a little strange, and I hope it's nothing skeevy about it. Those are beautiful patterns, and it seems kind of her to send them along.

I'm excited to see what you do with them! Also, I'm excited to see your jacket (love the colour)! I'll let you in on a secret...I still haven't replaced the safety pins for D-rings yet... But it works fine anyways. lolHeatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10477887672613694373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5186874526291014902.post-66369691256346171682011-08-23T20:15:41.420-07:002011-08-23T20:15:41.420-07:00It's awesome that she sent you patterns, but i...It's awesome that she sent you patterns, but it wold definitely creep me out too. I don't know if you have your first and last name listed anywhere alongside with your city, like on Pattern Review and such, one can access phone books online, and would be able to find your address.

Also if you list your city, and someone really wants to creep, then things like the assessed value of your house could be accessed from public records posted online.

I don't know how she got your address, but just throwing some things out there that everyone might want to be careful about. First and last name, plus a city, and a few hours of free time and most people can find out your address, phone number, and how much your house is worth.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14352160013222440581noreply@blogger.com
