I have been having trouble. I started knitting that cowl, which I admittedly hate doing. However I felt guilty not working on it, so I avoided sewing too. Yes, very nonsensical. Tonight I got a good thirty minutes in and 3 quilt blocks sewn!
This is my second French Roses quilt. My first was blogged about here. I still like to look at that first one. It is so pretty. This one has a little more blue in it. I'm not sure I like it as much, but I think it will wind up very nice. This was a nice time chunking project. Hopefully I can get thirty minutes and three blocks done tomorrow as well.
This is so pretty.. I bet it really will be, when finished.. Isn't it nice to get back to sewing, when its been awhile? Happy sewing/quilting.ReplyDelete
What a pretty grouping of colors and I love the heart in the center. This is going to make a lovely quilt.ReplyDelete
I still have quilt envy for your pretty rose quilt. When I think of making a quilt, I think of yours. Of course, my boyfriend is the exact opposite of liking girly things like that, so sadly I doubt I'll be able to talk him into letting me put one on our bed. :( But that's okay, I'll sew a pretty quilt vicariously through you! :DReplyDelete
And you know, the great thing about knitting is it's easy to put aside for something else, and pick up later on when you just want to chill in front of the tv. :)
Great post thank youReplyDelete
